Summer is here and unlike sodas, water is a true and healthy thirst-quencher.
Say goodbye to soda, juice, and bottled flavored waters and hello to freshly made fruit water – otherwise known as “spa water”. It’s super easy to make your own. Wash fruits or herbs, slice them up and add to your filtered water. If you use fresh herbs add a sprig of your choice of herbs to the Reusable Cold Tumbler, or Glass Mug or an Ice and Fruit Pitcherif you want to make a large amount; press and twist with muddler or handle of wooden spoon to bruise leaves and release flavor. Just a little bit of bruising is fine, you don’t need to go crazy.
Not only do these waters taste wonderful, they are also so much better for your body than sodas or juices, considering they are fresh and simple without any additives. They also look pretty!
You could use frozen fruits if you’re in a hurry. Just drop them in the water and you’re set. Here is an extensive list of fruit combos you could use in your water. The combinations are pretty much endless. Experiment on your own and have fun with it. Taste a new flavor every day! And let us know in the comments below if you have any favorite flavors we didn’t mention. This post was inspired by this book: A Guide to Creating World Class Spa Water. Get it today for more info on creating awesome and beautiful water creations for special occasions.
Add the fruit to a big Glass Mug , jar or Reusable Cold Tumbler.
