Losing weight quickly is meant mainly for someone who needs to lose a few pounds to fit in a dress or look and feel great at an upcoming reunion or family event. That is when you should do the 3 Day Diet. When you do the 3 Day Diet you are on it for 3 days then off for 4 days and then you can repeat the diet until you reach your desired weight. During the 4 days off you should eat healthy foods: plenty of vegetables and fruits, lean proteins and low-fat dairy, healthy grains and healthy fats. And make sure you don’t over eat. Following these guidelines will help you maintain weight loss and gain healthy eating habits as well.

And now to the yummy taco recipe! I’d love to share with you one of my favorite recipes: Avocado Tacos! MMMM. The avocado gives you the healthy fat, the beans give you protein, the tomato and lettuce are very yummy vegetables, and the corn tortilla is for your grains. If you want to add some dairy, low fat cheese or sour cream would be good on these. Seek out tortillas with the least amount of ingredients and beans with low salt (always drain and rinse them before eating them, too). And not only are these tacos good for you, but they are super easy to make and don’t really require any actual cooking. You just put everything together and BAM! You got some tasty, healthy Avocado Tacos! Here is the recipe, hope you enjoy!

Avocado Tacos

Avocado Tacos (serves 1)
Ingredients:
2 corn tortillas
½ avocado, pitted, peeled & diced
½ cup black beans, (drained and rinsed)
¼ cup tomato, diced
½ cup lettuce, shredded
salsa

Directions:
1. Warm the tortillas.
2. Add the avocado, black beans, tomato, lettuce and salsa evenly to each tortilla.
3. Fold up and enjoy.
